Vista Flip 3d Open Windows

I have windows vista, and my flip 3d isnt working right anymore.?

The flip 3d function stopped showing the pictures of all the open windows and now when i click to use it a small windows comes up (like the one that came up when you pressed alt+tab on older versions of windows). How can I switch it back?

Thats window vista, their is going to be lots of little problems like that just keep getting the updates
