How do trains turn without derailing?
I have been searching answers for this for quite a long time. But couldn’t get a proper one. Would be glad if i get pictorial or video or 3D explanation. Really puzzling me a lot. Pls help.
Not quite sure what you mean by turning? Rail beds are pitched for curves. One side is lower than an other. There is a limit. The new high speed trains have the capability to raise and lower the suspension of the actual wheels to compensate for high speed turns. Check out, “whythingswork.com” Hope this helps.
