Processor Cache Size
How much better will it be if I upgrade my processor to have 1gb cache instead of 512?

also- I have suggested upgrades by hp using their part number do I have to use the exact same part number if buying from outside sources…? specs seem to be the same…
It really depends on what you’re going to do with it. With some software you will notice an improvement with 1MB, while others you will see no difference.

In the end, it’s really up to you and if you think the slight performance gain you will see is worth the added cost.
