Why can’t you watch the new 3d movies on a regular tv?
I just bought a led tv from samsung. I asked the sales guy at b. buy and he said you had to buy the 3d tv to watch them. I dont understand
3d works by making each eye see a slightly different picture. In the old fashioned method, they used red and blue filters on two different projectors, but that screws up colors. The newest 3d uses circularly polarized light (I am not making this up) in two different directions, clockwise and counterclockwise. Most TV’s cannot project circularly polarized light, it takes special design.
