Inno3d Geforce Fx 5500 256mb

M7VIG 400 motherboard and AMD Sempron 2200+ processor and Inno3D Geforce FX 5500 256MB 128Bit?

I installed FX5500 256mb memory, but when i start my pc the memory of my video card is only 128mb..wat is the problem my the motherboard or video card? pls help

As the interface between the motherboard and the video card in no way should impact what the video card RAM would be, I suggest you do not have a card with 256 MB of RAM but one with 128. Sometimes people just are not honest.

BTW, you have an “Universal AGP” card, which means it should fit into any AGP slot and work. I am not aware of any AGP cards that need or have an extra power connector.
