Did i miss a good deal?

i bought this computer http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Dell+-+Inspiron+Desktop+/+AMD+Athlon%26%23153%3B+II+X4+Processor+/+6GB+Memory+/+750GB+Hard+Drive/9941275.p?id=1218198437877&skuId=9941275 and figured it would be cheaper to upgrade then buy a gameing computer, and after a more searching i found this computer http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Dell+-+Studio+XPS+Desktop+/+Intel%26%23174%3B+Core%26%23153%3B+i5+Processor+/+8GB+Memory+/+1TB+Hard+Drive/9973586.p?id=1218202914651&skuId=9973586 – would it had been cheaper to buy the studio insted of upgradeing my psu and graphics card?

Well neither is a “gamer” …both have poor graphics…though its not mentioned both probably have a 350W PSU. So…you would have to get a good graphics card and PSU for either machine. The difference between the two is about $300 ….or you could say with the first one you have $300 to invest in a good graphics card and PSU. A top 5770 and 650W PSU will set you back just over $250 out of the $300… with enough left over to buy a game!
