Dual Processor Hp Server
P4 2.8 HT or Celeron D 3.2?
I am building a media center out of spare parts for the house I have everything but the processor, the specs are Antec Server Case with a 400watt PS, pc chips mobo, 1 gig of dual channel ram, and a 160 gig sata primary and a 250 gig sata secondary, Radeon 9600, hp usb tv tuner that was originally for a laptop, and of course Windows Media Center 2005. My question is which processor should I buy the guy selling one to me has a P4 2.8 HT and a Celeron D 3.2 both socket 478 and both are $20, personally I am thinking the p4 ht because I have always had better luck with it, but its not really duel core where as the celeron processor is what do you guys think?
because it’s for a media center it’s not that important..
but the P4HT is the one to have between these two CPUs
