Dual Core Processor
What is the difference between a Pentium Dual Core Processor or a normal one?
My computer has 3G.B. of ram, 2.0 GHz and it is a pentium dual core processor, I wondered if there is any difference.
The current Intel processor for the consumer user is the I7/I5
then by age it goes:
Core2Quad
Core2Dual
DualCore
Pentium 4
Pentium 3
Pentium 2
The rest is not important. And in each of these groups, there are varying degrees of processor speeds.
So, you ask what is normal… well right now most of the computers on the market are running higher-end Core2dual or Core2Quad.
The bottom line is this, if your computer is doing everything that you want it to – Be Happy, if not, it’s time to upgrade.
