Amd Turion 64 TK-53 VS Intel Dual Core T2080?
Which one is better?

Which has the better processor? Can someone point me to some benchmark tests, or sites comparing these two processors?
They’re going to be about the same.
And UNLESS you do CPU intensive stuff like encoding DVD/video and 3D graphicss work, you’re not going to notice a difference (even if their was a 25% difference).

Vista needs 2gb to run like XP does on 1gb.
I would personally take the Acer as long as it didn’t feel cheap as I can’t stand these newer laptops with their too large size due to the 15.4″ screen (the Acer has a 14.1″).
