What to upgrade?

my question is what to upgrade in my computer to make it better performance for using software like Maya, ZBrush, Photoshop, Fusion, Premiere,…etc., also i have to run some background programs.
i use this desktop for learning 3d animation so i am not concerned about rendering that much i need much interaction speed for playback and can handle large amount of polygons while animating in Maya also can handle many polygons in ZBrush.

Yeah, a quad core processor and 2.4 ghz or higher would be sweet (the faster your processor the better your computer will run your applications, I always recommend maxing out the processor when folks are buying a computer)…. A Nvidia 8 series or 9 series would be nice too (Graphics cars are the fastest components to be outdated. These two series from Nvidia are top of the line. The 7 series like you have is designed for optimum efficiency, and comes standard on most desktops right now. Optimum efficiency is not equivalent to maximum performance, the 8 and 9 series are designed for people who are going to be doing tons of graphics work, either games or design. They allow you to run more graphics heavy applications at the same time with minimum lag)… You can always go up another gig in memory (Every bit of RAM you can put in your machine helps. I think your processor could keep up with another gig. Usually another gig of RAM, and a couple new graphics drivers will make up for having an outdated or undesirable graphics card for a little while)…. how much money do you have to do this? This rubbish is expensive.
