3d Ready Lcd Hdtv
I am very interested in purchasing a new HDTV…?
With 3D taking off I’m not sure what to do. I thought I was just going to pick up and LED-LCD but buying a TV that isn’t 3D ready seems foolish today. Is 3D the next big thing or is it just a fad that will soon fade? I guess the real question is, 3D or not 3D?
the 3d tv’s right now are the 240 hz LEd’s…..and ironically…..are cheaper than they were last year at this time (non LED tv.) for instance last year Samsung 46b8000 240hz LED was about 2499.00
this year you can get a 46c7000 +3d Bluray player+2 pairs of 3d glasses for about 2500.00-2600.00…..so technicallly 3d tv’s are not more expensive…..it depends how you look at it.
Remember on top of a 3d tv…..you will also need a 3d bluray player(400.00) and glasses (300.00 2 pair)……..AND a 1.4 rated HDMI cable……..there are no receivers that are hdmi 1.4 right now so you
won’t be able to watch 3d movies in surround sound unless you have a simple 2.1(Bose) or soundbar.)
remember……buy you tv based on what it is….3d is just a bonus…….there are some really bad tv’s right now….I think samsung is the only decent one out there….Lgs are Ok…Sony’s are really disappointing this year…….they are terrible….stay away from all Sony’s in 2010. Worse than Vizio.
