3d Illustration Software

What 3D software should I buy???

Ok, I need to take an eps and or Autocad file that is 1D (or flat) of a shopping center – I need to add trees and basic people and cars – I need it to be 2 or 3D so that I can do a “drive by” animation with it. So, I have an illustration of a building, I need to make it animated as if you were driving past it… so, I am assuming it needs to be 2 or 3D so it looks right. Please help. Not sure what to buy. I am a web/graphic designer – not a 3D guru…but I will have to learn how to use it…in 2 weeks..so something simple. the building can not be changed from the drawing that I currently have though so I can not use software to “make” the shopping center – I have to be able to import the drawing and make it 3D plus the driveby animation… Thank you in advance!

i’d get poser 3d if i were you. great app and available for pc AND mac. used by all the pros, not too expensive either.
