Wouldn’t touch a Toshiba laptop. I have one about a year old. It’s had horrendous overheating problems and cuts out without warning unless propped up on a few CD’s at each corner. Having investigated this there are numerous reports of Tosh’s having this problem and Toshiba not doing anything to help the users. I think there may be a law suit in progress in the States to try and force the issue.

It’s such a shame because I have bought hundreds of Toshibas over the years for my company and I love my laptop except when it dies without warning and I lose my work. Kinda ruins the experience.

If you do buy it, get yourself one of those cooler pad riser things…but you shouldn’t have to, should you?
