3d Big Sweep

What do you think the chances of a membrane sweep will work for me?

At my last check up, last Friday, I was 2cm dilated, 100% effaced at at -1 station. Also, my bag of water is protruding out of my cervix. My next appointment is this Friday and my dr said that she will do a membrane sweep and also break up the scar tissue that she thinks is why I won’t dilate and have actually carried as far as am I (both my other 2 babies were born early) I will be 38w 3d on Friday, so I am definitly full term. Dr wants to be safe and have me have the baby asap now due to risk of having a big baby since my first 2 were pretty big for how early they were. I have been having contractions for over a week now, just no progress in dilation. Do you think it will work for me?

It worked for me (my son came the very next day). I have had a few friends get that done and although it is a bit painful, all of their babies came within a day or so of getting it done. Good luck!
